About Allen
I am currently studying a Bachelor of Advanced Business at The University of Queensland, where strong mathematical and analytical skills are essential. I’ve also completed professional certifications with organizations such as Citi, Goldman Sachs, and KPMG, which strengthened my logical thinking and structured problem-solving approach.
Most importantly, I genuinely enjoy helping students and peers understand Math in a way that feels clear and achievable.

I tutor Grade 5–10 students of all ability levels — whether they need help catching up, building stronger foundations, preparing for exams, or simply gaining more confidence in Maths.
I understand that Maths can sometimes feel overwhelming or frustrating, especially when topics start building on each other. My goal as a tutor is to create a calm, supportive space where students feel comfortable asking questions and learning at their own pace.
I focus on breaking down concepts into simple, manageable steps. Instead of rushing through content, I make sure students truly understand the foundations before moving forward. I’m patient, encouraging, and I believe that every student can improve with the right guidance and explanation style suited to them.
I also work on building confidence. Many students don’t struggle with ability — they struggle with self-belief. I aim to help them feel capable and proud of their progress, no matter how small the steps may seem.
Lessons are 60 minutes, which I find is the ideal amount of time to stay focused without feeling overwhelmed. For students preparing for exams, longer sessions can also be arranged.
