About Emma
I am an experienced tutor with a strong background in STEM-oriented subjects, having achieved an ATAR of 99.95. After studying a year of Biomedicine at the University of Melbourne with a Vice Chancellor's Scholarship, I discovered my passion for physics and mathematics, prompting me to switch to a Bachelor of Engineering at Monash University. With over a year of tutoring experience, I have developed a teaching approach that is both structured and adaptable, ensuring that each session meets the unique needs of my students. My experience in coaching basketball has also equipped me with valuable skills in communication, patience, and motivation, which I bring into my tutoring sessions. I am dedicated to creating a supportive and engaging learning environment, helping students from Year 7 to Year 12 excel in Mathematical Methods, Chemistry, and Biology. My goal is to inspire confidence and academic success in every student I work with.
