About Cheryl
I achieved my 200hr (Yoga Australia certified) Yoga&Meditation teacher qualification in October last year and I'm currently working towards achieving my 350hr certification.
I hold qualifications in Holistic Health Therapies, Stress Management and Mental Health First Aid.
My background includes pain management, having previously worked in physiotherapy assisting and remedial massage therapy.
Whilst working in pain management, I regularly provided my clients with yoga and pilates-based exercises to help with their rehabilitation.
I’m passionate about health and well-being and know first hand the incredible benefits of a daily yoga and mediation practise!

Have you wanted to try yoga but felt too intimidated to go to a class? Have you tried to follow a yoga class on YouTube but struggled to keep up or spent the majority of the time wondering if you’re doing the poses correctly? I’ve been there! In fact, it wasn’t until I started my yoga teacher training that I realised I’d been doing a lot of the asanas (yoga poses) incorrectly for years!
My goal is to make yoga available to everyone - regardless of age, fitness level etc.
I prefer to teach one-on-one and to smaller groups as this allows me to provide a more attentive service, offering assistance and adjustments with asanas. I can also provide the yoga props required to enhance your practise.
My aim is to help students build stamina and increase flexibility organically. I encourage all students to work in unison with their breath and body, finding the correct alignment and posture for their specific body (because every body is different) by providing visual and audio cues.
