About Anshul
Hello! I am Anshul, a dedicated chess coach specialising in guiding beginners and junior players through the fascinating world of chess. My journey with this beautiful game started years ago, and it completely transformed how I approach challenges, manage time, and make decisions. Today, my mission is to share that passion with my students, helping them unlock their full cognitive potential while having immense fun along the way.
As a coach, my priority is professionalism and fun, structured learning, and empathy. I understand that learning chess can feel overwhelming at first, which is why I pride myself on being an incredibly patient instructor. I break down complex positional theories into simple, bite-sized concepts that a child can easily grasp. By creating a warm, encouraging, and supportive digital classroom, I ensure that my students never feel afraid to make mistakes—because every mistake on the board is simply a hidden opportunity to learn and grow.

My teaching approach focuses on active, hands-on learning rather than passive lectures. As a competitive player with a peak 2000 Elo rating, I use my deep experience with the game to break down complex positional theories into simple, bite-sized concepts that absolute beginners and junior students can easily grasp. My methodology avoids boring, tedious line memorisation; instead, I prioritise building strong safety routines, spatial awareness, and sharp logical thinking habits that students can apply to every single move.
