About Astrid
I began practicing yoga sixteen years ago in Costa Rica while earning my degree in psychology, and it quickly became both a personal refuge and a path of self-discovery. Today, as a 200-hour Registered Yoga Teacher and visual artist, I bring that same sense of connection, creativity, and mindfulness into every class. My teaching style combines the discipline of Vinyasa with the introspection of meditation, encouraging students to find stillness within movement, balance within challenge, and confidence through awareness. I believe yoga is not just a physical practice, but a bridge between body, mind, and heart - a space to heal, grow, and return to yourself.

My approach to yoga blends stillness and flow - meditation to quiet the mind and Vinyasa movement to awaken the body. I teach with an emphasis on awareness, breath and intention, creating space for themes such as resilience, confidence, and letting go, while adapting to each student's needs and helping connect inner emotion with outer movement.
With a background in psychology and work as a visual artist, I see yoga as a form of self-expression, creativity and transformation. My lessons are open to all levels - perfect for anyone seeking not just physical practice, but emotional healing, balance and renewed energy.
