About Mark
I'm a 19-year-old Marine Engineering student at the University of Strathclyde. I’ve always enjoyed maths and physics use it daily in my degree, from problem solving to applied engineering. I know how stressful Nat 5 and Higher exams can feel, and I want to help students build confidence and see maths in a clearer, more manageable way. I’m friendly, approachable, and patient — I believe anyone can improve with the right support. Outside of studying, I enjoy the gym, swimming, and travelling. I like to bring positive energy to my lessons so students feel motivated as well as prepared!

I offer Maths & Physics tutoring for National 5 and Higher students who want to improve confidence and grade results. As a current student at Strathclyde University who studies marine engineering I use maths every day and know how important it is to build foundations. My lessons are focused on breaking down tricky topics into simple steps, working through past papers, and practising problem-solving methods that actually appear in exams. I aim to make sessions interactive, supportive and suited to each student's pace whether that's catching up on basics or pushing for top grades. Lessons can be in person (Glasgow) or online. The first session is free so we can set goals and build a plan.
