About Amber
I am a 1st year Physics undergraduate at the University of Bristol. Having completed A-Levels in Physics, Maths and Further maths, I am now looking to transfer my knowledge and help out GCSE students looking for tutoring in either maths or physics. Whilst completing my A-levels, I tutored GCSE students in my school through a mentoring scheme setup by my school where they went on to achieve the grades they needed for the next step in their lives.

I would be looking to tutor GCSE level content. My lesson plans would be interactive; combining specific course problems with wider knowledge in order for the student to fully grasp concepts needed to complete their exams.
I would plan a session beforehand and send the subject areas to my tutee in order to give them some preparation time if needed and familiarise themselves with the topics we will cover. Additionally, I would give my students the freedom to request topics they feel they need revision on whilst also assessing them during sessions to see where I believe they need more guidance.
My sessions, whilst informative and educational, will also teach the students to engage and build more of an understanding and passion for maths and physics. I want students to enjoy these subjects; then you will want to learn more as opposed to feeling obliged to learn just for exams. As a student myself who has recently completed GCSE and A-level exams, I understand the skills required to efficiently complete exam questions and methods of revision which are most effective to different students.
