About Khayra
My name is Khayra Hazly, and I’ve always had a passion for teaching. The ability to share knowledge and help other students understand challenging topics continually motivates me in my university studies. Beyond my course, I aim to give back by supporting students who are on the same journey I once was. While exam results aren’t everything, my goal is to help you feel confident and prepared so they become something you don’t have to worry about. Most importantly, I value building a comfortable and supportive learning environment where you feel free to ask any questions — because I truly believe there’s no such thing as a stupid question.

As a first-year Chemistry student with experience as a Chemistry Ambassador, I take an interactive and structured approach to tutoring. My lessons focus on engaging students through discussion, problem-solving, and active participation. I use techniques such as active recall and progressive overload to strengthen understanding and long-term retention, combining clear explanations with challenging practice and feedback. Lessons typically last 60–90 minutes and are tailored to each student’s needs, beginning with a short recap before moving into new material and application-based tasks. I have experience tutoring Chemistry and supporting students through demonstrations and mentoring, which has developed my ability to explain complex concepts clearly. My lessons are designed for GCSE and above students who want to deepen their understanding, improve confidence, and achieve strong academic results.
