About Simone
I have first-class competence and I have taught at a secondary school for 7 years to young people aged 12-18 from pre-vocational level up to pre-university level. Both starter business and long process. I am familiar with the slo final exam training in Spanish with a very desirable result. I also gave Spanish as a workshop to gifted children in a primary school. I like a personal approach and look at the learning style and needs of the individual student.

I have a personal approach that focuses on the request for help; quick results. I have studied Languages and Cultures of Latin America / Spanish and the Practice study Journalism and New Media at Leiden University. I have a website management company and a company for other assignments such as interpreting / translation work, private and tutoring Spanish, reporting, editorial work, photography and coaching teenagers. I worked for 9 years as a Spanish teacher and mentor at two high schools in Amsterdam. I have taught in both PO and VO. In the PO I taught a small class of gifted students between 9 and 12 years old. In addition, I have taught the lower and upper years of VMBO, HAVO and VWO for years. Both short and long-term Spanish. I have also gained extensive experience and knowledge in internationalization and have been able to organize and implement many exchanges. In my teaching I use the TPRS method a lot, which assumes that you learn a language by reading this language a lot and telling stories in the target language.

Simone heeft het onmogelijke, mogelijk gemaakt. Spaans mondeling is gehaald en nu kan ik eindelijk afstuderen.
Na meerdere pogingen zelf geprobeerd te hebben toch bijles hulp ingeschakeld.
Simone heeft veel geduld maar pakt je ook aan op de momenten het benodigd is! Met een gestructureerde planning en meerdere contact momenten heb ik de basis van Spaans weer goed kunnen oppakken en met top resultaat!Sinds enkele maanden hebben wij les van Simone.
Bij start inventariseerde Simone wat wij wilden bereiken en onze leefstijl. Vervolgens gaf zij advies welke lesmethode/ boeken hier bij aansloot en zo zijn de lessen gestart. Haar aanpak, enthousiaste, kundigheid en persoonlijkheid heeft er toe geleid dat de aansluiting op maat is en dat wij veel van de Spaanse taal, cultuur en gewoontes leren. Ook de extra tips om de taal verder te verdiepen werken mee aan het Spaans beheersen naast de lesuren om.
Huiswerk is een stok achter de deur om uiteindelijk ons doel, de Spaanse taal te spreken, lezen en schrijven, te halen. Door de verscheidenheid van het huiswerk is het een haalbare uitdaging geworden
