About Amy
I have a first-class degree from the University of Bristol in BSc Accounting and Finance. As part of this course, I undertook units in Financial Accounting, Management Accounting, Corporate Finance, Taxation, Financial Statement Analysis, Portfolio Management, International Finance, Financial Markets, Financial Crises, Applied Quantitative Research Methods and also open units in intermediate and advanced German. I also interned for 10 weeks with the Royal Bank of Scotland during the Summer of my second year and successfully gained a full-time role with them as a graduate. I therefore have practical experience within Finance.

I have tutored first-year students in this subject for the past 2 years. My teaching style is discursive, with the emphasis on what the student wishes to practice. I plan lots of varied activities for sessions focussing on exam technique as well as discussing real-life applications of techniques.
