About Corinna
Hello, my name is Corinna. I am a 1st class English and Theatre graduate from the University of Warwick, and am about to embark on a PGCE in Secondary English at the University of Oxford. I am a friendly and experienced tutor who wants to help you make the most out of your studies! In my studies I have learnt various teaching techniques and approaches, and my lessons are a creative combination of discussion, revision and new knowledge. English is a vast subject and everyone struggles with different things so don't worry if you feel behind, we can work together to build your confidence. I can support you with essay practice, reading comprehensions, grammar practice, and mock exams. I hold a full DBS certificate and have availability to begin immediately.

I am a friendly and patient teacher who will take time to get to know the pupil and the best way to engage with them. As different learners require different approaches, I do not have a one size fits all method. A typical lesson will be between 45 minutes to an hour, although longer sessions are possible around mocks and exams seasons. I offer a free 30 minute consultation session in order to establish a tutoring programme that suits your needs. I have experience tutoring English at both GCSE and A Level, as well as working with younger pupils to work on their foundations before beginning Secondary school or the GCSE curriculum.
