About Sanjhana
I am a 1st year UG student. I have been passionate about English since my time in school. I read a lot of books, and english literature is my favourite aspect of the language.
I also teach underprivileged kids. So teaching English is something I really like doing, and when someone with a passion for the subject teaches you, you tend to fall in love with the learning process. Also, teaching English would give me some much needed experience, and hence, I am applying here.

Teaching english is a multifaceted job. While short stories are approached in one particular manner, poems need to be explained in a completely different way.
I usually prefer to quickly go through the short story once, point out the important details in the story and get into a detailed discussion of the story.
On the other hand, for poems, I explain it in a very detailed manner, so as to uncover all the thoughts of the poet.
For Plays, I would usually ask volunteers to read/ act out the play, so as to make the learning process more interesting.
