About Sabelo
I live my life by the following values: integrity, focus, service, perseverance and creativity. In areas where I fall short, I introspect on the matter and try again. Alongside being a tutor, I am a son, scholar, friend, executive director and a public servant.
I started tutoring in grade 10, where I would help some of my classmates after school with maths and physics at a low, low fee of R20 for 2hrs. Over the years, I have helped various people, gained a lot of experience and have come to find a lot of value and fulfillment in helping others find their footing.

For mathematics, grade 11 and 12s are the target students, with lessons focused on improving students' ability in areas of difficulty by first focusing on the foundational knowledge and working on more complex problems until a desired competency is reached. In addition, included are sessions covering exam preparation with consultations outside tutoring hours on worked problems available at no extra charge.
Sessions are offered online and in person** from 20 January to 31 April and 1 July to 15 October
**Only offered in Johannesburg and neighboring areas during winter holidays
For the financial mathematics tutoring, students from grade 11 to 12 are introduced to various topics in actuarial science, from theory of interest to modelling. This program is offered from 1 December to 15 January, with breaks on the following dates:
December: 16,25,26 & 31
January: 1 & 2
This program will take place in person. More information is available on request.
Students also have the option of joining WHEN I GROW UP (NPC) as mentees. Under this nonprofit, students are afforded the opportunity to access academic mentoring and take part in social consultations. More information about this program is available upon request.
