I am a mature, qualified English teacher with seventeen years experience in private tuition and teaching in schools. I have an MA in Creative Writing from Cork University which I received this year, a BA in Fine Art from NCAD and a teaching qualification from Cambridge University to teach English as a foreign language (CELTA). I have extensive experience teaching and mentoring young people, especially with SATs Key stages 2, 3 and GCSE English. I believe that personal development and academic achievement go hand in hand. I have the highest expectations of my students and I am very effective at setting goals and coaching students to attain them. My students have been achieving excellent results and I can provide references from past pupils.
