About Felipe
I am from Santiago, Chile now living in Washington, DC, USA! I learned English as a second language and I understand how frustrating and difficult learning a new language can be. I love sports (especially soccer!), music, and movies and can talk about these topics in both English and Spanish. I am laid back and non-judgmental, so no worrying about making a mistake in my lessons!

I believe that the best way to learn Spanish is to base lessons in culture. I want to teach students not only the language but also the culture of Latin America. Lessons need to be fun, so I incorporate a lot of Latin American music, movies, sports, and pop culture in my lessons.
Students should have 3-4 years of high school Spanish (or a solid basic understanding of the language). Lessons will be geared toward colloquial Spanish for every day life and travel.
