About Chiara
After finishing high school in 2014, my passion for languages brought me to Spain, where I spent nine months working as an au pair near Barcelona. There I also learned Catalan, falling in love with it. In 2015 I entered the school for interpreters and translators of Forlì (Alma Mater Studiorum - Bologna) with Spanish as a first language. I chose to study Russian as a second language and during the first year I studied Portuguese as a third language, before changing to English. In 2016 I left again for Spain, this time for the Erasmus exchange program in Vitoria-Gasteiz (Basque Country), where I was lucky enough to get closer to that special, complicated and fascinating world that the Euskera language represents. From February to July 2018 I studied in Moscow, where I finished my third and final year of university. Both in Spain and Russia I gave some private and frontal lessons of Italian as a foreign language, and I consider teaching as a possible future job.

No matter what your level is, we will work in a practical way on the language. Beginners start with the basic grammar, but always in an active way and alternating topics and activities so that learning does not get boring. With intermediate and advanced levels I focus more on oral practice and, depending on your requests, also written. This can be about translations, formal and informal conversations, stories and so on. One of my favorite ways to learn a language is through music: if you please, we will use foreign songs to enrich your vocabulary, train your listening and study the language together with the culture in a practical and funny way! In any case, I am open to more specific requests and advice, in order to work on what you need the most.
