About Cleo
My interest in French began from fascination with languages, literature, and cultural communication during my studies. I completed a Bachelor’s Degree in Modern Languages before earning a Master’s Degree in French Linguistics. During the last 5 years, I have helped students improve language confidence through supportive teaching and practical learning methods.
I believe language learning should feel welcoming and adaptable for every learner. Some students improve through conversation and listening activities, while others prefer grammar explanation and structured exercises. My teaching style focuses on patience, encouragement, and steady progress so students can build confidence comfortably while learning French.
Outside teaching, I enjoy reading French literature, exploring francophone culture, and practicing translation activities. Staying connected to the language helps me introduce authentic and engaging examples into lessons. Teaching French is meaningful to me because I enjoy helping students communicate more confidently and explore a new culture through language.

My French lessons focus on helping students build practical communication skills through clear explanation and interactive learning methods. I teach grammar, pronunciation, vocabulary, listening comprehension, sentence building, and conversational French using structured activities that make learning approachable and engaging. Lessons are designed to improve fluency, confidence, and understanding while creating a supportive language-learning environment.
Beginners improve through pronunciation drills, guided reading, and simple conversations that gradually strengthen language foundations. Intermediate learners develop stronger grammar accuracy, listening ability, and conversational confidence through discussion activities and structured exercises. Advanced students focus on fluent communication, cultural understanding, and advanced expression with deeper language development. I also include roleplay activities and listening practice that help students improve naturally.
French becomes easier when students practice communication regularly instead of memorizing isolated rules without context. My lessons encourage curiosity, consistency, and confidence while helping learners improve steadily. I want students to become more comfortable and expressive while using French in practical situations.
