French graduate offering one-to-one tutoring sessions in person (in London/Herts/Bucks) and online

I would be able to travel for in-person lessons at the student's home, so long as you live on the Metropolitan line on TfL or on the Aylesbury-London Marylebone Chiltern Railway line, as I do not have a car. I have factored my average travel costs into my in-person rate; I would run remote lessons from my home.

I already have a very useful textbook of French grammar for students whose first language is English, but I do not have copies of any current course textbooks. If the student would prefer to work from their textbook, I will obtain a copy once we have agreed to pursue regular sessions.

I offer an initial session of up to 60 minutes for free. I will start by speaking to the student in English, so we can get to know each other comfortably and I can find out what they've been struggling with. I will then ask them to speak with me in French: this might be nerve-wracking for some students who feel uncomfortable speaking in French, but the conversation doesn't necessarily need to be longer than a few minutes! I just want to hear for myself where we can make some improvements. Finally, I will share these reflections and invite them to ask any questions. After the session, I will send over a document with more refined feedback, key targets, and a detailed plan for future sessions, if we agree to move forward.
