About Tess
I am a Biology tutor with 10+ years of experience and a Master’s degree in Systems Biology. I specialize in teaching evolutionary biology and the origins of biodiversity. Evolution explains how organisms adapt to their environments. It also explains how new species arise.
In my lessons we focus on natural selection, adaptation, speciation, and the history of life. These ideas reveal how biological systems change through time. I teach using an interdisciplinary perspective that connects different scientific fields.
We examine fossil discoveries, anatomical comparisons, and genetic data to understand evolutionary processes. These lines of evidence support the scientific understanding of evolution. They also show the connections among species.
I enjoy working with anthropology students and curious learners who want to explore life’s history. Discussions and questions are encouraged. Evolution reveals the amazing story of life’s journey across billions of years.
