About Evan
I'm a 1st year Engineering student in UCD.
I started off just by tutoring my sister so she could get better at school, this quickly expanded to extended family and friends before I began to realise I was genuinely able to help people improve.
I then transitioned tutoring anyone who asked for my help, during the last few months of the leaving cert I had roughly 15 students, however since the leaving cert has ended, many of my spaces freed up. They were filled quite quickly by local students, however there is still a small gap in my time which I hope to fill by online placements.

My lessons are 1 hour long,
I start from the beginning of each topic the student may struggle with.
-I encourage them to ask as many questions as possible in order to solidify the learning.
-I then focus on perfecting the basics such as equations and methods before moving onto exam questions.
-when tackling exam questions we will focus on how to approach each question initially and how to break it down into simple parts,
-Then we will perfect the technique by analysing the marking schemes to see where we can squeeze the extra 2 or 3 marks.
-Finally we will work on the timing of each question type, and improving speed while maintaining neatness and calmness during an exam.
