I am a current mathematics/science student and an aspiring doctor. The desire to teach comes from my love for learning. Lessons are taught depending on the learning style of the student as each is individual and has different preferences. Approaches to learning will be adapted to fit each students unique learning style and goals. However, the ultimate aim is to completely familiarize the learner with their subject content and thus allow them to have the ability as well as confidence to apply this knowledge to exam style questions.
The typical duration of a lesson can be anywhere between 45 min to 2 hours.
I have previously worked with special-needs children, teaching foundation/primary school level English, Mathematics and Science.
Lessons are primarily for years 7-11 students (pre-GCSE or GCSE preparation) however I do tutor students under the age of 11 for 11+, SATs preparation etc.
